Mr. Rodolfo Nardez Sirol began his career in the power sector in 2001 as Environmental Manager at Duke Energy. He joined CPFL Energia as Environmental Manager in 2008 and in 2011 became Environmental Director. In 2015, the Sustainability Department was created, and his scope was expanded to the sustainability area (social and sustainability strategy). He has a degree in Oceanography from the Federal University of Rio Grande, a MSc. and PhD. in Animal Science from the Federal University of Viçosa, and two MBAs, both by the Getulio Vargas Foundation: People Management Strategy and Business Management. In 2014, concluded his post-MBA in Innovation by HSM and, in 2017, The Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Program from Cambridge University. Since 2013, is Vice President of the Board of Direcotrs and the COGE Foundation and become a Board Diretor of ENERCAN, CERAN and Foz do Chapecó, and was Chairman of the Board at Global Compact Network Brazil between 2020 and 2023. In 2023, he was recognized as a UN Sustainable Development Goals Pioneer in Brazil, for his achievements as a corporate leader in environmental licensing and management, as well as in sustainability and responsible businesses.
